July sees the first Girolles to supplement peas and broad beans, raspberries and strawberries. We really hope to see English cherries soon, and the salmon and sea trout have made an appearance on some of the Scottish rivers.
Steak night continues every Monday with what must be the most extensive range of beef cuts in town. Short ribs & seam cut leg, wing ribs, rumps & Cotes de Boeuf, each suiting a different taste. Let us know if you would like something put aside or if there is an unusual cut we can butcher for you.
